To prevent crime the police and the community must work together
The purpose of the Forum is to promote a partnership between the community and the police
The CPF will also provide support for organisations that promote social crime prevention, such as womens groups, youth clubs, churches
The CPF has a management committee, elected by the member organisations to carry out the day-to-day business

Applications for Funding
(only for organisations registered with the CPF)
Are you planning a project that is in line with the CPF Aims and Objectives (e.g. to improve safety, to promote respect for human rights)? Funding is available! Applications for projects can be made. by CPF member organisations - read the Guidelines on Funding Policy (download below)

Note that only properly constituted organisations (i.e. with elected leaders and a membership body), and not individual members of the public, can become members of the Community Police Forum. Delegates are entitled to vote in CPF elections, and member organisations can apply for funding (see above).
